CT Scuderia watches: Italian Design, Swiss Made, British Inspiration
CT Scuderia is an Italian brand, founded by Enrico Margaritelli. Coming from a watchmakers family, Enrico proudly represents the third generation. This passion for watchmaking was passed on to him by his grandfather, Ariodante. In particular, he had created high-precision watches for special forces during the two world wars. Enrico has collaborated with major brands like Fossil or Emporio Armini to finally embark on the adventure with its own watch brands.
CT Scuderia is inspired by the Cafe Racer culture. Café Racers are retro-styled single-seat motorcycles that are often modified to improve speed and ergonomics. The Cafe Racer culture has been around since the 1950s, in reference to motorcycles used for English racing from one coffee shop to another. The term CT is the acronym for ContaTempo meaning Time Counter. Scuderia translates as "stable" and is specially used for motor sports. The CT Scuderia watch is a perfect match for the world of the elite Café Racer.
The clean lines of CT Scuderia have been imagined by Enrico's enthusiasm for experimenting with unusual shapes, lines and patterns. Beyond the purely inspired design of the Cafe Racer, CT Scuderia watches are distinguished by the unique shape of its case. The crown and pushers are positioned on most models at number 12. Generous in size with diameters around 44mm, CT Scuderia watches leave no one indifferent.
CT Scuderia watches are handmade in Switzerland. The brand opted for quartz and automatic movements from the Swiss manufacturer Ronda.
