Knut Gadd Watches
Knut Gadd is a Swedish brand, founded in 2014 by a couple of young adventurers, Therese and Carl-Johan Gadd. Carl Johan fell in love with a watch worn by his grandfather. The Gadd family was looking for this famous watch during their travels, but without success. It was during a trip to Switzerland that Carl Johan decided to create his watch brand, to pay tribute to his grandfather, Knut Gadd.
Their hexagonal dial easily distinguishes Knut Gadd watches. Coming from Sweden, the Scandinavian design codes are importants to the founders. The dial is free of any numbers or elements disturbing the reading. Only the logo and the name of the collection are present. The dial is beautiful, with a slight relief in the form of grid. The case is made of brushed 316L stainless steel. The Knut took care of every detail. The crown is also treated with its decagonal shape and the brand logo embossed.
Knut Gadd continues to surprise with the launch of their very first chronograph, the Cult watches. The identity of the brand is always present, with the grid on the dial and the Scandinavian spirit. Resistant to 10 ATM, the Cult collection once again returns to the grandfather. Indeed, Knut Gadd participated in the waterpolo Olympic Games of 1948. On the back of the case, the Olympic rings are engraved with the date of the games.
The leather bracelets are made from genuine Italian calf leather. Some models even offer a leather strap with a stitch on each side. Stainless steel straps are also available.
