Marloe watches: British-style Mechanicals
Marloe is a young watch brand created in 2015 by Oliver and Gordon. The name of the brand is inspired by the city Marlow, where Oliver grew up. All Marloe watches are equipped with a hand-wound mechanical movement.
At a time when so-called smart watches are increasingly developed by brands, Marloe proudly highlights the watchmaking tradition of hand-wound watches. Marloe controls all stages of production and marketing of their watches. Oliver manages production, logistics and marketing, while Gordon is dedicated to the design and image of the brand.
The lake, on which Donald Campbell has achieved several speed records on the water, inspires the Coniston collection. Marloe even launched the bluebird model as a tribute to the boat with which several records were set. The Coniston Bluebird watch has the same colour code as the Bluebird K7. An automatic movement at 21600 bph equips the Marloe Coniston watches. With a thickness of only 10.5 mm and a diameter of 40mm, the watches are very comfortable. Without being too discreet, they are not cumbersome either. The glass is sapphire with anti-reflective treatment. The hands are covered with super luminova BG-W9 treatment for night reading. The watches are water resistant 10 ATM to submerge them under water without any problem.
